'I'm Just Looking Thanks' and Frequent Visitors Alike

I use Google Analytics to collect non-identifying standard analytical log information, the number of visitors to each page within the site, details such as which pages are looked at, how the site was found (directly, by search engine, link from social media, email, etc), and other random information. Data collected by Google Analytics about my website is retained for 50 months by Google and all THEIR policies apply to it.

I use some Affiliated Marketing Companies for my Resource Links and on other pages, and there is a legal 'blurb' on the bottom of each page of my website; stating that any affiliated links may provide me with a small compensation if/when a sale is made on that site, after clicking from a link on my site to theirs. Once you click over to THEIR website; THEIR individual privacy, terms and cookie policies will apply instead of mine, while you are on their site(s).

Additionally, I use Google Translate, which provides the option of viewing my entire website for FREE in 103 different languages; and therefore some data is stored also by Google Translate (based on THEIR terms, privacy and cookie policies that take effect when you use the Translate language option); and over which I have no control or access to any of that information.

SeeWhatsNew Emailer Sign Up Info

On sign up for my SeeWhatsNew Emailer, I collect minimal personal information such as name and email address; which are used strictly to supply the either on-going or one-time info you requested on sign up and/or notify you of new offers and freebies now and then. I do not rent, sell, buy or trade email name lists with any other organizations or businesses.

I may in the near future, use a third party provider to deliver my Emailer, so the statistics around email opening and/or clicks from it using industry standard technologies, help to monitor and improve this service and may be collected by that company. The specific company name will be listed and its privacy policy linked here, once it becomes official.

You can unsubscribe from my emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of my emails; or by sending an email with a request to be removed from my mailing list, directly to askme@money2eat4life.com.

Where Your Info Is and How to Get It If Need Be

You are entitled to access your personal information that may be retained by my website, and to request a copy please email a request to Andy B. All info is kept online and/or in Canada or the US (depending on the webhost provider), regardless of where it is collected from worldwide; and is stored in English. You may also ask that your personal information be deleted if it is being stored by my site, using the same request link.

What's In It

Cookies are text files containing small amounts of information that are downloaded to your personal computer, mobile or other device each time you visit any website. Cookies do lots of things like remember your language or currency settings, reveal error messages when moving to different pages and generally improve the user experience. Cookies are sent back to the originating website on each visit you make after the initial one, or to another website that recognizes that cookie.

What Kinds Are There and How Long Will They Last

Persistent cookies remain on your device for the period of time specified in the cookie policy or until you clear out your browser's cookies and/or cache. They are activated each time you visit the website that created that particular cookie.

Session cookies are temporary cookies that allow website operators to link all your actions during a session, starting when you open a window on your browser and ending with all cookies being deleted when you close the browser window.

Third party cookies allow other sites/companies to track the success of/customize their application that is also present on my site; but I can't see or use any of this data and that company can't see or use any data that may be stored on my site. For instance, if you ‘share’ through Twitter or 'repost' on Facebook, cookies might be placed on your device from these websites, and THEIR policies will apply to them; but Twitter/Facebook will NOT have access to any data stored on my site nor will I have access to any data stored on their site.

I use a combination of the above types of cookies but most of them are from other companies as I mentioned before; so any and/or all information is stored with those companies under THEIR terms and policies, unless I specifically state different elsewhere on this website.

These Policies are current as of January 17, 2024 and will be updated as necessary. Notice via a post on the home page of my website with a link will signal any new changes after this date.
